About Reed of Hope

In Nakuru, Kenya street children are utterly rejected as being a menace to society. Born out of poverty and tribal conflicts, these youth live a devastating existence of trauma, abuse, and survival on the streets.

Daring to fight the oppressive odds, Pastor Sammy Ngaho founded Reed of Hope three years ago to love these kids back to life. Once destitute and hopeless, these children are now rehabilitated and determinedly pursuing their education in hopes of one day changing lives too.

This ministry is selflessly bettering the lives of children in the burgeoning city of Nakuru, Kenya. Without Reed of Hope's help, the prospects for these youth are grim. Many children who live on the streets do not make it to adulthood due to living in such a dangerous atmosphere. Even fewer youths are able to gain a sense of self and purpose, but at Reed of Hope this is a reality. By providing a home, good food, health care and an education, Reed of Hope is making possible the bright future these children deserve.
